Dearest sweet, Sandi,
Thank you so very much for sharing this story with us... it warmed and touched our hearts so...very much..
You are so poetic...and such a gifted artist...that it is only natural for you to flow so easily with your memories....of wonderful Tom  and your "swept off your feet "meeting...

I can tell you we met Tom... on the Wolf Creek Pass ski trip('71)
and I was expecting our first child Stephen...I was 6 mo pregnant sitting by the pot bellied stove at the lodge ..while all skiid.... except me.  I can tell you Tom had on striped ski pants and (red) suspenders and slim  legs that would not quit...and he was grinning ear to ear!!! Always. He was so fun on the plane, I recall.  So this was 1971,,,as I had Steve March 13 of 72... Then the next time we saw him was at a  Christmas party at Bob Eagles home ..because I was wearing a Christmas green ...long dress..(74?)and..... I was expecting Wendi who was born in May of 75.  Tom took one look at me...said
Hello ....and then said..." Is this all you do?????"  He had only seen me twice and I was pregnant both times....Never forgot that...and we will never forget you two...and how crazy mad you were for each other...and how well you blended your talents...
I treasure our last visit to Granbury and him getting me up on the stage to be humiliated like all of us are( and look forward to!!) He had not lost his touch ..in fact he had become more seasoned than ever at it...And then the tour of your museum...and the best.. a tour of your home...Tom was so proud of all you had both done and we were so blown away...by both of your unending talents...
Jim got to take friends and go back while I was on a Cursillo Retreat...in the area....later...
After enjoying those productions you all put on...you are just so amazing...and combining your Christian faith with it.... spills over to everyone...
You are doing the work of the Good Lord...and Tom is forever vibrant ..and looking down upon you ..Miss Sandi.....He will always be with you...and he is looking good!!!!
Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year...and you will always be in our prayers....The torch is yours to carry now!!
 Much love,
Margaret and Jim
